This brand is named after the surname of the father of Japanese whiskey Taketsuru Masataka (1894-1979), which is mainly characterized by its rich and long-lasting peat flavor. The 12-year-old Taketsuru with rich malt aroma mixed with apple and citrus fragrance. There is smoked apple, black coffee and oak flavor with a long aftertaste.
